I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for the past 15 years, with a humble start in community mental health. In 2018 I branched out and started my own private practice, Seeds of Change Counseling. Around that time I also started my own deeper healing journey through the following trainings and experiential self-work: EMDR, Brainspotting, Parts Work/IFS, Reiki, Yoga Therapy, and Breathwork.
I have always been passionate about trauma work, systemic change, and spirituality. I believe that to heal the symptoms of the human condition, we have to peel back our outer layers and understand the root causes of our suffering. We have to get past what we think we should know or do and access the inner wisdom and innate healing capacities held within our brains, bodies, and DNA. In our culture, most of us were not taught how to self-regulate, and/or we were conditioned to believe that emotions are bad. Therefore, we internalize and carry these deep-seated negative core beliefs that interfere with our functioning, relationships, and happiness.
Talk therapy is a great start, but often it only addresses the mind. How can we heal our whole self if we are only addressing one single aspect? Our self consists of so much more: our physical body, our soul (spirituality), our emotional body, and our energetic body?
In 2023 I started Full Bloom Wellness to create a safe space and community to Inspire and guide others to find their Full Bloom. I was trying to bloom before I was ready. I needed to change some of the conditions of my environment (internally and externally) to allow myself to blossom into my Full Bloom. Because I have been utilizing all of these holistic modalities, I am proud to share that I am now in Recovery from so many things that were interfering with my Higher Self: perfectionism, people pleasing, and using substances to numb out and cope (just to name a few).
Between trauma, hardships, technology dependence, and polarized political and safety issues, our culture is in survival mode. Fear based living causes our Central Nervous System to stay in constant state of fight, flight, freeze, and fawn. This wreaks havoc on our mental health, relationships, and bodies.
But guess what? There is hope!
Did you know that the frequency of Desire is stronger than fear?
Did you know that it only takes a few minutes or less to reset the Nervous System, take it out of fight, flight, freeze, and allow our nervous system to rest and digest and heal? And that practicing these simple things daily can re-wire our nervous system to better self regulate?
Did you know that setting and focusing on positive intentions or affirmations for 30 days can re-wire old programming and create more positive, adaptive beliefs and resilience?
And did you know that research from Epigenetics tells us that we all have intuition and wisdom living within us that we can access and learn how to trust ourselves and increase our faith?

Attend one of the First Friday’s Breathwork Healing Circle events. Try a mediation app or watch some short YouTube videos on calming the nervous system. Find a therapist that feels like a good fit.
